Shoutout to the $1.25 glass candle holders for instant plant vases
My kitchen windowsill was full of ugly plastic nursery pots, so I grabbed six of those plain glass candle holders from the dollar store last Saturday. After washing off the sticker residue with hot soapy water, I popped my small pothos cuttings right in with some pebbles I found outside. Total cost was $7.50 for all six, and they look way better than the $12 planters at the garden center. Anyone else repurpose candle stuff for their plants, or do you have a better dollar store hack for displaying cuttings?

Hell, my pothos are thriving in old pickle jars. Fancy is overrated.
