The dollar store shelf brackets that held my whole pantry

I grabbed a set of metal shelf brackets from Dollar Tree for $1.25 thinking they were purely decorative. My pantry wall has thin drywall and I figured I'd need to reinforce them with anchors or plywood. Instead, I bolted them into studs with the included screws and loaded a 40 pound bin of flour plus canned goods on top. They haven't budged in 3 months, and now I'm testing a second set on a heavier shelf. Anyone else find a dollar store hardware item that beat the big box store version?
