The hot glue gun at the Riverside craft fair almost ruined my wreath project
I was at the Riverside craft fair last month and watched a vendor demo a $3 hot glue gun on a foam wreath form. The glue got so hot it melted a hole straight through the foam, and she just kept going like nothing happened. I bought the same gun a week later for my fall wreath and sure enough, it ate through two forms before I switched to low-temp sticks. Now I test every dollar store glue gun on a scrap piece of foam first, no exceptions. Has anyone found a cheap gun that actually holds a steady temp, or am I stuck buying the $8 one at the hardware store?
