Finally got my layer naming system sorted after a $300 rework
Spent a whole day fixing a set of MEP plans because my old system was a mess. Anyone have a good method for keeping plumbing and electrical layers straight?

A strict naming system just creates more work for everyone. The time you spend policing layer names could be spent on actual design. A messy system lets you find things by memory and context, which is faster once you know the project. Over-organizing kills that natural workflow. All that structure is for other people, not for getting the job done.
