Found out my drafting table from the 80s is worth way more than I thought

I was cleaning out my garage last weekend and decided to look up my old drafting table that I've had since trade school in 1985. Turns out it's a Mayline parallel bar table and some collectors are asking over $400 for them on eBay. I almost tossed it in the dumpster two years ago because the edge got a little bent. Has anyone else stumbled onto an old tool or table that was hiding in plain sight?

Did you ever use that drafting table for something completely random like sorting mail or as a plant stand? My dad's old workbench ended up holding my mom's sewing machine for 15 years before I realized it was a vintage piece.

Put a potted fern on mine for like two years @king.ruby. Kept me from having to buy a plant stand I guess.
