Had to choose between manual drafting and CAD for a basement remodel last month
My boss threw me on a small basement job where the old plans were hand drawn and the homeowner wanted digital 3D views. I stuck with pencil on vellum for the rough layout since it felt faster for quick changes on site. Then spent 3 hours scanning and converting it anyway. Has anyone else wasted time trying to save time like that?

Bet you unloaded that whole gym before anyone else even showed up. Tuesday mornings are the wild west at my spot too, everyone fighting for the same rack like it's Black Friday. Props for getting it done early though, sets the tone for how the rest of the day plays out.
