My title block template got overwritten and I lost 3 sheets before I caught it
Last Tuesday I was finishing up a set of shop drawings for a small office build and went to update my title block like always. Somehow my template file got saved over with a junk version from months back, so my sheet numbers, revision dates, and the whole border just went wrong. I printed 3 sheets before I noticed the client name was spelled wrong and the scale said 1/8" on a plan that was set to 1/4". I spent about an hour fixing each sheet by hand and redoing the revision cloud I had already placed. Now I keep a backup copy in a separate folder on a USB stick, but I still feel like I'm one mistake away from doing it again. What do you all do to keep your template safe from getting clobbered like this?
