Old timer at the shop in Pittsburgh told me to 'feel the pull' instead of measuring every angle
He was setting up a 60 foot radius curve for a stair railing and just ran his hand along the rod before bending it, and after I watched him nail it on the first try I started trusting my hands more than the tape from then on, has anyone else dropped the math and just gone by feel?
