PSA: I was putting my title block in the wrong corner for years

I used to always put my title block in the lower right corner because that's how I was taught in my first job in Phoenix. A senior drafter at my new firm pointed out last week that our client's standard wants it in the upper right, which makes their filing system work. How many of you have had to unlearn a basic habit like that?

Wait, you were taught to put it in the lower right? I mean, that just sounds wrong to me.

Honestly, lower right is the only spot that makes sense on a standard envelope. The post office sorting machines read from the bottom up. Put the stamp anywhere else and you're just asking for a delay. Seen it happen with client invoices all the time. Tbh, it's one of those things you learn the hard way after a few things get returned.
