Swapped from hand drafting to SolidWorks for a big job and nearly lost my mind

Started a commercial kitchen layout on the tablet last month and switching from pencil and vellum to full CAD took me twice as long but the revision layers saved my butt when the health inspector demanded a 3-foot sink clearance at the last minute, anyone else find the learning curve brutal even for simple floor plans?

Oh man, I used to swear by hand drafting and thought CAD was just overcomplicating things. But when I had to redo a whole restaurant plan three times in one week, the digital layers and quick edits completely won me over. Still took me forever to stop reaching for an eraser instead of hitting delete though.

Haha yep the eraser muscle memory is real! I still catch myself trying to "undo" stuff in real life sometimes, like accidentally spilling coffee and expecting a Ctrl+Z.
