Update: My entire plot plan for a Denver subdivision got corrupted right before a city review.

I was in the office at 2 AM trying to rebuild the file from a week-old backup and some printed sketches. Has anyone else had a major file failure and what's your backup plan now?

Ugh, that's the worst. I keep a daily backup on a separate drive now, plus cloud sync.

Not sure I'd call a daily backup a "safety" thing exactly, @xena_fisher49. More like basic common sense once you've lost a project once (learned that the hard way). Though I do wonder how many people actually test their backups, you know, try restoring from them to see if they work. It's kind of like having a spare tire in your trunk that you've never checked if it's inflated.
