Got burned by a cheap cutterhead last month on the Kaskaskia River job

I cheaped out and bought a $200 aftermarket cutterhead for my 12-inch dredge. It threw a tooth on day three and tore up our pump seals before I caught it. Anybody else had luck with aftermarket parts or am I the only dummy who tried it?

Read a post on the Dredge Boss forum where a guy swore by Chinese cast parts for his 8-inch pump, said they lasted a full season. But another old timer chimed in saying he watched three different aftermarket cutterheads crack under load in the same month. Honestly I'd rather pay for the OEM stuff than risk downtime and busted seals again.
