I used to think hydraulic dredges were overkill for small harbors
Worked a job on a 30-foot harbor in Maine last fall where a mechanical bucket was churning up bottom every 20 minutes. Switched to a hydraulic setup from a local rental outfit and finished the whole channel in 2 days with half the turbidity. Did anyone else fight this mindset before trying it out?

Funny how that works, isn't it. Reminds me of how folks stick with old habits just because they're familiar, even when something simpler is sitting right there.
