Read vinegar is harsh on rubber seals, might skip that trick.

Wait don't old timers swear by vinegar for everything? I heard my grandpa say he cleans his coffee pot with it once a month too.
Seems like 3 months is way too often anyway unless you're running straight mud through your radiator. Even then you'd probably wear out the hoses before the vinegar does anything bad.
But yeah I've definitely heard the rubber seal thing before. Some guys on the jeep forum said it made their heater core o-rings leak after one flush.
Guess there's always a trade off with these home remedies. Vinegar works good but maybe save it for every 6 months or a year instead of every quarter.
