Shoutout to the old guy who told me to run the ladder pump at 80% on silt
I argued it was too slow for the job near Mobile, but he was right. It kept the line clear and saved me a four hour clog. Anyone else have a piece of advice that went against your gut but worked?

Sometimes the slow way is the fast way in the end, right? Ever notice that with other stuff too?

Isn't it wild how often that's true? Like @elizabeth_martin said, taking time upfront saves a mess later. Rushing to plant seeds without checking the weather just means you replant next week. Skipping the instructions to build that shelf fast leads to a wobbly mess you gotta totally redo. Slow feels frustrating, but it fixes the root problem instead of just the symptom.
