Shoutout to the old timer in Houston who told me my swing was all wrong
Ten years of swinging off the levers like it was a rowboat and he just says "you're fighting her, son, let her eat." Now I let the cutterhead bite on its own and my cycle times on the 8 inch are down about 15 percent, anyone else get schooled like that later in the game?

Sometimes the old guys just see it different. Took me way too long to stop forcing the feed and just let the saw do its thing.
