That 90 hour week at the Mobile River went smooth as glass

Last month I pulled a 90 hour week on the Mobile River project, and every pump run went perfect no clogs or breakdowns. The next week everything fell apart, blew a hydraulic line Monday then cooked a bearing on Thursday. Anyone else ever have a week that good then get wrecked the next one or is it just my luck?

Man that's rough. Same thing happened to me on a Big Sandy River job last fall. First week was a dream, zero issues, everything running like it was brand new. Then the next week the main pump seized up and we lost two full days waiting on a replacement part.

Ended up buying a spare pump assembly for ours after that first breakdown. Cost about $600 but it saved us three days of downtime when the original went again six months later. Cheaper than losing a whole week of billable hours in the long run.
