Twin-screw vs cutterhead on clay, my 60 day comparison down on the Yazoo

I spent two months last fall running both setups on the same stretch of the Yazoo River, clearing out about 14,000 cubic yards of blue clay. The cutterhead would clog every time we hit a root ball, and we lost a whole day just digging it out. The twin-screw chewed through the same material without a single stall, and our fuel burn dropped by almost 30 percent. Has anyone else made that switch and seen a similar jump in production?
