Rant: I thought that pre-mixed lightweight mud was a gimmick until a bathroom ceiling job in Gary last month

I've been mixing my own mud out of a bag for 12 years and figured the bucket stuff was for homeowners and hacks. My supplier talked me into trying a 4.5 gallon bucket of the lightweight pre-mixed on a 9 by 5 bathroom ceiling, and I knocked out the first coat in under an hour with almost no sanding dust. Cost me about $22 a bucket versus roughly $14 for a bag, so it's not free, but my shoulder felt the difference by quitting time. I'm still not using it on big flat walls, it dings too easy. What do you all use it for, and where do you draw the line?
