That one Tuesday in July where everything went perfect
Had a day last summer where the mud was mixing just right, the tape laid flat on every seam, and I finished a whole 12x12 room by lunch. Hit the corners clean on the first pass with no touch-ups needed. Ever have a day like that where you just knew not to push your luck and called it early?

Traded my trowel for a six-pack after a good day like that once and thought I'd treat myself. Ended up dropping the whole sixer on the driveway and watching it roll away while I fumbled for my keys. Guess the universe was telling me I already had my win for the day.

Tell me more about the tape situation. Was it that mesh stuff or the paper kind that usually fights you on every corner? I've had days where the paper tape curls up like it's got a mind of its own, so I'm curious what brand finally played nice.
