The 5 gallon bucket trick from a guy in Amarillo that showed me I was hanging board wrong for 6 years
I was on a job in Amarillo about 6 years in and this older hanger named Ray watched me hang a ceiling solo and just shook his head. He showed me to rest one end of the sheet on a 5 gallon bucket turned upside down so I could lift the other end with one hand and screw it off with the other. I had been fighting ceilings with my head and shoulder for years like an idiot. Anyone else got a small thing like that they wish somebody had showed them on day one?
