Week from hell: 3 straight days of skim coating in a 90-degree attic
Customer had a 1920s house in Denver with plaster walls that were cracked to hell, and I spent Tuesday through Thursday up in their attic doing repairs when it was 95 degrees outside. Has anyone else had a job that just kicked your butt nonstop?

Did your customer at least offer you a beer afterwards? Because you definitely earned it. I once spent two days on my knees patching a ceiling in July with no AC, and I swear I drank about a gallon of water and still felt like a dried-up sponge by the time I was done. Attics in summer are basically ovens, but one you climb into instead of baking bread in. At least your repair work will outlast your memory of the sweat stains.

Man some jobs just beat the life out of you dont they? I swear I'd rather wrestle a wolverine than crawl through an attic in July again. At least the wolverine might just bite you and run off instead of making you sweat through every pore until you look like a drowned rat. A beer wouldve been the bare minimum but honestly I'd take a cold shower and a direct deposit of cash over a brew any day. That heat just hangs on you like a wet blanket even hours after you climb back out.
