Bought a used cargo van to 'save money', insurance bill says otherwise
I thought a $4,000 2005 Ford E-250 from a lot in Fresno would replace two truck payments, but my first quote for commercial coverage came back at $380 a month because it's still titled as a work vehicle. That number alone made me realize I never actually budgeted for the hidden costs of owning something labeled 'commercial', and now I'm stuck with a van I can't park at my apartment complex. Anyone else jump into a used work truck without checking the insurance first?

Did you try calling around for just a liability policy?
