I just realized I've made the same simple pasta dish 100 times

I was cleaning out my recipe folder on my phone and saw I had a picture of my 'emergency dinner' from a random Tuesday three years ago. It's just pasta, a can of chickpeas, spinach, and lemon. I counted and I've made a version of it at least 100 times since then. I mean, it's not fancy, but it's the one thing I can always make without thinking after a long day. It's kind of wild how something so basic became my go-to. Anyone else have a meal they've made a crazy number of times without getting sick of it?

That's honestly the sign of a perfect meal, right? It's like we all have these quiet, reliable food habits that just work. Makes you wonder how many other tiny routines we repeat without even noticing them.

Yeah, those quiet habits are everywhere once you start looking. The Logan is right about the food autopilot, I do the same thing with my morning coffee. It's just one less thing to worry about.

Honestly, that's not a recipe folder, it's a shrine to one good idea. You've basically achieved food autopilot, which is the real adult goal. I respect the commitment to a no-thought dinner.
