PSA: My "15 minute" freezer meal took 45 minutes and I'm still mad about it

I tried those bag freezer meals everyone raves about (you know, dump ingredients in a bag and freeze). Thought I'd save time on a busy Tuesday. But between chopping veggies, browning meat, and making sure nothing leaked, it took me 45 minutes just to prep. Then it took another 35 minutes to actually cook after thawing. The meal was fine, but it wasn't any faster than just cooking from scratch. Am I missing some shortcut or are these things just a lie?

Honestly same. I used to swear by them but now I see it's all hype.

Most freezer meal recipes just lie about the prep time. They don't count chopping or browning, they just count the part where you dump stuff in a bag.
