Found out how much a 3 lb package costs me to ship to California and I feel sick
Ran the numbers on my actual carrier invoice for Zone 7 shipments and my real cost per box is $11.42 once fuel and residential fees hit, not the $7.90 I had in my head. Been pricing my flat rate off that fake number for 6 months so I ate the difference on roughly 400 orders. Anyone else get wrecked by surcharges they forgot to factor in?
