Just found out my "vapor barrier" install was completely wrong for Edmonton winters

I was reading an old post from the Alberta Building Code forum and realized my poly sheet is on the wrong side of the insulation, which means moisture is gonna rot my studs out in 5 years. Has anyone else caught a mistake like this after the fact?

Zone 2 climate with poly inside the warm side is brutal. I caught my uncle's 2005 build with it backwards and by year 7 the insulation was basically a sponge.

Saw a guy do that in a 2013 reno and it was even worse than what you're describing.
