Customer in a crawlspace asked me to fix his smart switch from the outside
I was swapping out a dimmer in a 1950s bungalow in Portland last Tuesday, and this guy stays in the crawlspace yelling instructions about wifi pairing. He wouldn't come out because he said the spiders were nesting on his jacket. Has anyone else had a customer hide while you do the actual work?

Did he at least offer you a beer after or just let you work while he communed with the eight-legged tenants? One time I had a client in Eugene who insisted on supervising a paint job from inside her car with the windows up, claiming she was allergic to the color beige. She kept texting me hex codes from the driver's seat while I was on a ladder.

Yeah that's a new one. Spiders in the crawlspace is a legit concern though, take it from someone who cleans houses. I'd probably stay up there too.
