Had a journeyman call me out for how I was stripping MC cable
Guy watched me use my lineman's to twist the anti-short bushing in and said 'you're gonna knick the insulation doing that.' Switched to using my flathead to tuck it in instead and havent had a call back since. Anybody else have a simple tip like this that saved you headaches?

That's a good tip right there. A lot of guys get set in their ways and don't like being told different, but that journeyman probably saved you some callbacks. I've seen stripped wires cause all sorts of intermittent problems that are a nightmare to track down. It's the little things like using a proper bushing that separate the hacks from the real craftsmen. Sounds like you took the advice well and it paid off, which is more than a lot of green helpers would do. Good on you for listening.

@the_tara probably owns a shirt that says "I make callbacks so you don't have to.
