Picked Milwaukee over DeWalt for the new service van, second guess myself every time I pass a Dewalt sign
Been running my own gig for 3 years now, and I finally had to commit to one battery system for all my tools. I had a mix of both brands from side jobs, but it got stupid carrying two chargers and two sets of batteries. So I put everything on the table in my garage and counted it out. Milwaukee had 9 tools, DeWalt had 7. I went with Milwaukee just on numbers. Now last month I needed a new impact driver and DeWalt had a better deal at the local supply house by about $60. I passed on it and bought the Milwaukee version. Felt fine until I watched the DeWalt one get rave reviews on every forum I visit. How do you guys handle the brand loyalty thing, just pick one and never look back or do you run two systems on purpose? I keep wondering if I made the wrong call based on a count that barely mattered.
