Spent 3 hours running conduit in a ceiling last week only to realize I forgot the pull string
I was up in a drop ceiling at a school in Portland, running EMT for a new lighting circuit. Got the whole 80 foot run done, strapped and everything, before I noticed I didn't have a pull string in any of the pipes. Has anyone else dealt with that sinking feeling of having to fish wire through empty conduit you just spent all afternoon on?

Whoa hold up. I gotta push back a little on this one. Forgetting the pull string is a rookie mistake but it's not the end of the world. You can blow a mouse line through with a vac or just use fish sticks. I've done it plenty of times and it takes maybe 10 minutes tops. The real sinking feeling is when you spend 3 hours running conduit and then realize you gotta rip it all down because you missed a support clamp or it's out of level. That's the stuff that makes you wanna throw your tools.

Ugh, @dakotab13 that conduit thing hits too close to home. Been there before and it just makes your whole day feel wasted. Hope you didn't throw anything too expensive.
