A weird hum in my amp led to an easy fix with foil tape

My guitar amp had a constant buzz that was driving me nuts. I found a loose ground wire and just wrapped it tight with some aluminum foil tape, problem solved.

Check all your input jacks too, they get loose over time. Had the same hum on my old Fender, tightened the jack plate screws and it went quiet. Honestly that foil tape trick works great for a quick fix in a pinch.

Man, that foil tape is a lifesaver. I had a crazy buzz on my old Tele and it was driving me nuts. Tried the tape on the back of the pickguard and it killed like 90% of the noise right away. It's not pretty but it gets the job done when you need to play a show that night.
