Samsung TV board swap taught me a lesson about firmware locking
Last month I took in a 2019 Samsung with a dead main board. I found a used board online for $45 and swapped it in. The screen came on but the picture was green and pink. Turns out the main board and panel are married in firmware, even when the part numbers match. I had to buy a $20 EEPROM programmer to reflash the board using the original dump. Has anyone else run into panel pairing issues on other brands?

Did you check if that EEPROM dump was signed or encrypted before you flashed it? Some of those newer Samsung boards verify the checksum during boot and will brick if you mess with it. Curious if your $20 programmer was enough to get past that, or if you had to mess with the bootloader too.
