That $15 bushing puller kit saved my back and my sanity

I was fighting a seized washing machine drum bearing for two hours with screwdrivers and a hammer, making zero progress and cussing up a storm. Finally caved and bought a cheap bushing puller from the local parts store for $15, and it popped that thing out in like five minutes. The kicker was I had been avoiding the spend because I figured I could rig it, but now I keep it in my van for every appliance job. Has anyone else found a random cheap tool that ended up being the MVP of their repair kit?
