Wasted 60 bucks on a fancy desoldering station I didn't need
Picked up that expensive vacuum desoldering station thinking it'd speed up my board work... turns out my $15 spring-loaded solder sucker does the same job for through-hole stuff. Used it twice in 4 months, mostly collects dust on the shelf. Anyone else regret a big tool purchase that your basic kit already handled?
