Honestly, I had to explain that without the brains, his elevator was just a fancy box of scrap metal, and it really made me wonder how many people think we're just button-pushers. Has anyone else had a client who just didn't get the tech side of the job?

Yeah they get stuck in that mindset and never listen. It's like once they decide something is true, no amount of real world proof can change their mind. Makes you wonder how they got to be in charge in the first place. Just gotta move on to a place that values people who actually know what they're doing.
