Comcast quoted me $18,000 for a 10Gbps circuit and then laughed when I asked about SLA guarantees

Sat through a sales call with Comcast last Wednesday where the rep kept dodging my questions about uptime credits and then finally admitted their premium SLA only covers 99.9% for enterprise copper, not fiber, so what are you all doing for backup when the big guys fail on you?

Honestly that SLA is weak for the money they're asking. Kinda feels like they're just banking on nobody actually needing the uptime.

Oh man, a buddy of mine signed up with a similar provider last year. Had a small outage that cost him a whole day of work, and they basically told him the SLA didn't cover it because of some fine print about "scheduled maintenance.
