Oh wow, twenty whole minutes. I bet your users didn't even have time to finish typing their angry tweets before the service came back. Must be nice having a tech who actually shows up with a brain and a working OTDR.

You ever notice how those twenty minute outages always seem to happen right when you're in the middle of showing your boss some important report that won't load? Reminds me of the time our whole warehouse network went down on inventory day, and somehow the guy who fixed it was the same tech who'd been sleeping in his truck for two hours out back. I told laura940 once that sometimes the best fix is just letting the system reboot itself while you grab a coffee, but nobody wants to hear that when their spreadsheets are frozen.
