Blew through 30 glycolic peels before a client asked why my skin was flaking

I was using 30% glycolic on myself every week for 6 months until a regular asked if I was trying to peel for a wedding. Has anyone else completely misread their own skin tolerance like that?

actually I gotta disagree here. 30% once a week for months sounds like a recipe for a damaged moisture barrier, not just personal tolerance. if your skin was flaking that long, it was telling you something you chose to ignore.

Did you ever try buffering it with a moisturizer underneath?
