Client walked in with a beard of fake tan, I dont even know where to start
I had an appointment this morning at my studio in Austin and this woman came in with this orange line all around her jaw like she tried to do a mask with self tanner. She said she watched a TikTok at 2am and thought it would 'contour' her face. I mean, I spent like 15 minutes just trying to scrub it down before I could even do her actual facial. Has anyone else dealt with DIY tan disasters like this, or is it just me?

My sister used to buy those $12 face tanning drops from Ulta and would swear they made her look like she had a filter on. I always told her it was just her being careful and doing it right. But holy hell, seeing this in person during a consult last month changed everything. A guy came in with his nose completely orange and the rest of his face ghost white, like he dipped his face in a bag of Cheetos dust. It took me twenty minutes just to get a makeup wipe to come back even slightly clean. I get the appeal now, but there is a reason we pay for pros to do this stuff.
