Got talked into buying a jade roller for $45 and thought it was total BS
Rolled it over my face after a long shift last week and that thing actually depuffed my eyes in like 5 minutes flat. Has anyone else found a random tool they thought was hype that actually works?

Got one of those little silicone face scrubber things for like $8 and figured it was just a scam... ended up being the only thing that actually clears my pores without making my face all red and angry. That jade roller thing though, I always assumed it was just for Instagram props or whatever. Might have to grab one now if it actually helps with puffiness. Kinda mad at myself for buying into the hype but hey, if it works it works.

Wait are you telling me the jade roller actually does something? I seriously thought it was just for looking cute in selfies and maybe feeling cold on your face for a second. That silicone scrubber thing sounds legit though, I hate when my face gets all tight and red after washing it, feels like I'm punishing my skin for existing. I grabbed one of those cheap spin brushes from target and it basically just flings soap everywhere and makes my face angry, so I'm definitely gonna try the silicone one instead. I feel you on being mad about buying into the hype though, it's like we're all just lab rats for whatever trendy thing pops up on tiktok. But honestly if something actually works and it's cheap, I'll take the win.
2
