That $150 LED mask I was sure was a scam actually helped my skin after 8 weeks

I got one of those $150 LED masks off Amazon last November, mostly because a client swore by hers and I wanted to see if it was real or just hype. Honestly, after the first month I saw zero difference and almost returned it. But around week 6 I noticed my post-acne marks were fading faster than usual, you know, like those red spots that usually hang around for 3 months. By week 8 even my mom asked if I was wearing foundation differently, which was wild because I wasn't wearing any. Has anyone else seen delayed results from red light therapy, or did it kick in faster for you?

Oh great, another thing I have to be patient about. Like I needed another reason to stare at my face in the mirror for months wondering if I'm wasting money. I bought the same kind of mask last January and around week 5 I started to seriously hate that client who recommended it. But then out of nowhere my husband goes "hey your skin looks less angry" which is basically the most romantic compliment I've ever gotten from him. So now I'm stuck using this stupid thing every night like some kind of futuristic beekeeper. Pretty sure the real scam is how long they make you wait before you see anything.

Wait, your husband called your skin "less angry" and that was supposed to be romantic?!
