Unpopular take: most chemical peels at medspas are way too aggressive

I keep seeing estheticians here push 30% TCA peels for mild acne scarring when a series of gentler lactic peels would give better results with way less recovery. Has anyone else noticed clients coming in with damaged moisture barriers from these heavy peels being overused?

The damaged moisture barrier cases - are these people with naturally oily skin trying the heavy peels, or mostly dry skin types?

Yeah but @river_rivera45, are these medspas even doing a proper skin assessment before reaching for the TCA?
