Wasted $80 on a face steamer that barely lasted 3 months

Bought this fancy facial steamer off Amazon thinking it would level up my facials. Worked great for the first month, then the steam started getting weaker. By month 3 it just stopped heating up completely. Tried contacting the brand and got nothing back. Anyone have a steamer brand that actually holds up longer than a season?

Am I the only one who feels like everything's built to break these days? It's like companies figured out they make more money if stuff dies right after the warranty ends. That face steamer story is just one more example of how they're all playing the same game...

man @wade780 you're so right about this. a buddy of mine bought a fancy espresso machine last year, top of the line, cost him like 600 bucks. thing worked perfect for 13 months and then just stopped heating up one day. he called customer service and they were like "sorry, warranty was 12 months, that'll be 200 to fix". he looked up the part online and it was this cheap plastic gear that probably cost them 50 cents to make. so he just bought a used one off facebook marketplace instead of giving them more money. it's like they engineer them to break right on schedule now.
