Why does nobody warn you about pH prep wipes?

I was zapping a client's chin hairs Tuesday and the zap wasn't sticking right - turns out I'd been using pH prep wipes that were way too old. They dry out and lose conductivity, wasted 20 minutes before I grabbed a fresh pack. Anyone else had this mess up a session?

Ugh, that's the worst! I had a similar thing happen with some old preps and it totally threw off my rhythm for the rest of the day.

Three weeks back I had a pack of pH wipes that were sitting in my drawer for maybe 4 months. Same exact issue - the zap just wouldn't hold on thicker chin hairs. @park.tara you're right about it wrecking your rhythm. I switched to getting the smallest packs available so they don't sit around long enough to dry out, usually 50 count boxes. Learned the hard way to check the seal before starting because once you're mid-session and the prep isn't working, you're just wasting time and annoying the client.
