Been noticing people using their phone flashlight to find stuff in the dark when there's a dedicated 'screen flash' setting buried in accessibility that works way better

My buddy spent 5 minutes fumbling under his car seat with his flashlight on blinding me last week until I showed him the single tap shortcut on his Samsung and he said it saved his eyesight - has anyone else found settings like that hidden in places nobody checks?

Yeah but seriously who actually goes digging through accessibility settings unless they already know something specific is there? I mean I've had people tell me about the back-tap shortcut on iPhones where you can set it to take screenshots or open the camera, but I've never once checked if there's something like that for Android. What really gets me though is why do phone makers bury stuff that would actually help people every day under menus labeled "accessibility" like it's only for blind folks? Like my dad has his font set to huge and the screen contrast maxed out and he didn't know that was a setting for years until I accidentally hit it messing with his phone. Do you think companies just assume nobody will ever look there so they don't bother telling anyone?

Oh man my buddy spent six months with his phone in grayscale before he accidentally found the color settings in there.
