I switched from a paid password manager to just using my browser's built-in one for 6 months and it's been fine

After my subscription for a fancy app ran out, I decided to try Chrome's free save feature, and honestly, logging into my bank or the electric bill site in Seattle hasn't been any harder, so has anyone else ditched the paid services for something simpler?

My buddy did the same thing and then his browser updated, lost all his saved logins for a week.

Browser updates are supposed to make things better, not worse. If his logins got lost, that's a sign he wasn't syncing them to an account, which is basic security. A week without them just means he didn't use the password recovery tools right away.
