Saw a clever phone charging setup at the Denver airport

I was stuck at gate B45 for two hours yesterday and noticed something simple but smart. The charging station had these little rubber bands, the kind you get for broccoli bunches, looped around the base of each charging cable. People were using them to keep their phones propped up against the station so they could see the screen while charging. It's a free hack that turns a basic charger into a makeshift phone stand. I tried it with my own phone and it worked perfectly, no more hunching over. Has anyone else seen a simple, no-cost tech fix like this in a public spot?

Wait, broccoli bands at the Denver airport? I fly through there all the time and I've never seen that! I'm honestly shocked they haven't been stolen or broken. Those little rubber things are so flimsy. I would have expected someone to just yank the whole cable by now. It's cool that people are actually using them right.

That's actually a pretty clever use for those things.
