The guy at Micro Center last week fixed my iPhone battery drain in 30 seconds
He just told me to turn off background app refresh for social media apps one by one, and my battery went from dying at 3pm to lasting all day. Has anyone else had that one setting change everything for their phone?

Happened to me with my iPad last month. I turned off background refresh for like half the apps and suddenly it wasn't draining overnight. Felt dumb for not trying it sooner.

Turning off background refresh for maps and social apps fixed my battery drain problem too.
