Update: My brother convinced me to stop clearing my phone cache every week
He's a network engineer and said modern phones manage memory so well that manual clearing can actually slow things down by forcing apps to rebuild data. I stopped doing it a month ago and haven't noticed any performance drop at all. Has anyone else found a routine tech maintenance task that turned out to be pointless?

Yeah, until I realized @blake432, it was basically a second job with worse pay.

bruh i saw a post on reddit a while back where someone called it "the two hour weekly chore simulator" and honestly that hit different lol. like you spend all that time doing the same mechanics over and over just to get one decent piece of loot every few weeks. i remember when i was clearing that dungeon i'd be zoning out by the third boss like "why am i even here." the worst part is when you finally get a drop but its a dupe of something you already have. i swear the game knows.
